NGC 7727 is not a single galaxy, but two separate (likely spiral) galaxies in constellation Aquarius that are nearing the final process of merging into one larger galaxy after a billions year clash.
Switch-off the lights to see the arms... The size is actually much bigger than the official catalog size.
The galaxy towards west (right) is NGC 7724.
