The Coma cluster is a large cluster of galaxies that
contains over 1000 identified galaxies, each of them comprising several billion
stars. Distance from cluster is around 320 million light years. The brightest
members, two supergiant elliptical galaxies NGC 4874 and NGC 4889, have mag. 12.
Identified members are NGC 4848, NGC 4850, NGC 4860, NGC 4865, NGC 4871, NGC
4872, NGC 4873, NGC 4874, NGC 4881, NGC 4883, NGC 4886, NGC 4889, NGC 4894, NGC
4895, NGC 4907, NGC 4908, NGC 4919, NGC 4921, NGC 4923. See finder chart below.
